My name is Bob Evans. I am the pastor of Temple Baptist Church, a congregation affiliated with the Baptist General Conference. We recently celebrated our 125th anniversary as a church. I’m also a husband (to Pat Evans), father (to Nathan, Caleb and Jennifer), and a grandfather(to Brigette and to Nicole, daughters of Jenn and Kevin Jensen) currently living and working in Brainerd, MN. In addition to my work as a pastor I also manage the Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen and serve as an on-call and part-time Chaplain at St. Joseph’s Medical Center .

Dear Bob and Pat,
Thanks for helping me find you again. I have copied some of your recent (since about April/07) postings.
What is the plan for your 125th Anniversary of the Church? Is there anything that is open to the general public? Is there another Baptist Church in town? First BC? That church supported us in Pakistan for several years early in our careers there. Am I correct? Back in the 50’s and 60’s. It then changed character. (read: Dr. Clearwaters). Keep up the good work.
